Thank you for your interest in getting active with Balearic Outdoor Adventures. Listed below you will find our terms and conditions of business.
BOOKING & PAYMENTS
Reservations are accepted via email, telephone/whatsapp as well as via messages within our social media channels. To confirm a reservation and turn it into a scheduled booking, full payment of the agreed fee is required (bank transfer, BIZUM, PayPal). By settling payment you also explicitly accept our terms and conditions.
CANCELLATIONS / DATE CHANGES
Up to 14 days before the booked date:
Cancellation: full refund of payment in case of cancellation.
Date changes: permitted, always provided Balearic Outdoor Adventures can offer date availability.
Less than 14 days prior to the booked date:
Cancellation: no refund of payment in case of cancellation.
Date changes: permitted, provided Balearic Outdoor Adventures can offer date availability.
Less than 24hrs prior to the start of the activity:
Cancellation or no-show: no refund.
Date changes: not permitted. The payment made for the original booking will not count towards any new booking.
By settling payment you explicitly accept those terms.
WEATHER POLICY
The safety of our clients is of paramount importance to us. This is why we will proactively contact you if the forecast gives adverse weather conditions. Apart from the safety aspect, we also totally understand you don’t want to do your Balearic Outdoor Adventure in the pouring rain. We are blessed with a fantastic climate on the Balearic Islands, but we do get some bad weather days. So if the weather forecast looks unfavourable (high chance of rain, high winds etc), the activity gets cancelled or rescheduled.
A cloudy day alone does not qualify for a bad weather cancellation, this is also valid for sunset activities (cloudy days and sunsets are sometimes actually the most magical ones).
Also be aware that some routes that include swimming, cliff jumping and/or SUP (paddleboarding) may be cancelled or rescheduled because of strong winds, which may make a departure unsafe.
SUPERVISION & SAFETY
All activities offered by Balearic Outdoor Adventures are supervised by a certified guide. Levels of supervision vary according to the needs of the group and programme. Details on the type and level of supervision can be discussed with the guide. All participants must take heed of any safety information, guidance or hazard warnings given by the guide at all times.
ALCOHOL, SMOKING, DRUGS
Balearic Outdoor Adventures are adventurous activities in a natural environment, which is at the same time also the guide’s working environment. We operate a strict no alcohol, no smoking and no drugs policy during the activity and we request participants to turn up sober to any activity. We reserve the right to withdraw individuals or suspend/cancel programmes where it is felt participants pose a danger to themselves or others.
Other than that, we don’t have anything against a cold finisher beer after the activity!
