ABOUT STIVI
Hi, I’m Stivi and I run Balearic Outdoor Adventures. I’m Swiss, I’m fluent in six languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Catalan), I am a hiking guide and certified mountain leader and know the Balearic Islands like the back of my hand.
Growing up in Switzerland, hiking was the most natural thing for me to do from a very young age, but it wasn’t until I started living on the Balearics (early 2000s) when I really got hooked, on both all those wonderful islands in the middle of the Mediterranean, as well as on outdoor activities.
My home base is the island of Ibiza, but I travel back and forth between all the islands frequently. In the summer months, Ibiza is the place I’m most active (not exclusively though), while in winter, I spend a lot of time in Mallorca’s Tramuntana mountains.
Personally, I love adventurous hikes, I love cliff jumping and you could probably say I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I also like to challenge myself - I mean who in their right mind would walk from Switzerland down to the southernmost bit of Spain and then ferry over to Morocco, just to continue walking…?
That said, I fully adapt to my clients, their skill level, their hiking experience and their demands. As mentioned further above, we take pride in doing things in a personal and individual way. I love personal contact with my clients, from the first point of contact until after your Balearic Outdoor Adventure.
